Rules and Regulations

Registration:
- One of the players can register and make a payment for the team
- A player can only register for up to 2 categories
- Refunds for the registration fee are only available if cancellation is made at
least 72 hours before the tournament starts
- League level matches:
a) Each team has to play with all other competing teams in that pool.
b) Two sets will be played with each other, finishes at 15 point (No setting)
- Semi-finalsβThe semi-finals will be played only if there are 4 pools in the category.
The pool winner will qualify to play in the Semi-Finals. Semi-final games are 21
points of 3 sets.
- FinalsβIn any category with only two pools, the highest-scoring team from each pool
will qualify for the Finals. If there is only one pool in any category, a round-robin rule
will be applied to decide the winner.
- Tie-breakerβIf two teams are tied, the total score of each team will be calculated,
and the highest-scoring team will be qualified for the next level. If the total score is
the same for each team, then the tiebreaker team's total score will be calculated.
Even after the scores are level, a single match between the two teams will be held for
15 points, and the winning team will be qualified for the next level.
- Winners will be awarded the Kerala Badminton Gold Medal, and the runners-up will
be awarded the Silver Medal.
- Kerala Badminton will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents
caused during the tournament. It is highly recommended that you have a valid
Badminton Ireland Registration number to cover any personal injuries.
- The Dispute Redressal Committee can be notified of any issues or disputes during the
tournament. This committee's decision is deemed to be final.
- Kerala Badminton will have the right to modify or cancel any of the above rules
